Developing a project

It has been a week since I arrived in Sandnes to take up a month-long residency. I have been busy turning a work-space into a darkroom and getting started with pinhole experiments. I made a trip to one of the local senior citizen groups to rally some volunteers. I think the language barrier did not help with this endeavour but regardless, several members joined me at the studio to make self-portraits. I will revisit the group with loaded cameras to make participation a little easier.

I have been made feel very welcome by the other studio residents who have been enlisted as participants. I want to thank Turi in particular as she has been both lunch-mate and cheerleader for my project!
