So it has been 9 days since my last entry and so much has changed and evolved over that period. Firstly, I tried making cyanotypes for the first time and am in LOVE! The process creates images much like blue-prints and so fits with an attempt to document place and time. Talking of process, it incorporates several stages including pinhole photography, the creation of large format negatives on acetate and then the development of the cyanotype.
I have transferred this imagery onto small composite 3-dimensional forms. I am excited about these and intend making more to enable larger clusters. I am still unsure of context and whether or not they will end up in a jewellery format. Much to think about!
