Today I had several students from the local high school come along to STUDIOWORKS for a visit with their teacher. We made photograms, a process I have always loved and one which works as an excellent introduction to darkroom processes. As it was part of their natural history curriculum they brought along some specimens from class. They worked brilliantly as you can see. REclaimed is a new range of brooches combining various metals including recycled tin, aluminium and silver. The exhibition I curated for the first UK City of Culture Year, CultureCraft - Culture in the Making is in it's last few weeks at the National Craft Gallery in Kilkenny Ireland.
